Message from the President
Over
the past 35 years, Training Resources of America, Inc. (TRA) has
steadily grown from a single on-the-job training site in Worcester, MA
to multiple program operations at nine locations across the state
including: Brockton, Fitchburg, Holyoke, New Bedford, Quincy, Revere,
Salem, Springfield, and Worcester.
Since its inception in
1975, TRA has helped over 35,000 educationally and economically
disadvantaged youth and adults achieve their education, employment and
training goals. Hundreds of employers have benefited from hiring TRA
trained employees and from utilizing TRA's customized workplace
literacy services to enhance their in-house training. Numerous
Workforce Investment Boards and funding organizations have come to
depend on TRA's professionalism and ability to provide high quality
workforce development services.
I am honored to be the president of Training Resources of America, Inc. I am proud of our
staff and their commitment to working as a team to uphold our mission
in order to continue to provide our communities with skilled people for
today and tomorrow.
