North Shore Region
The North Shore Regional sites are located in Revere and Salem. All have a long and strong history in
Massachusetts.
Revere has the honor of being home to the oldest public beach in America, Revere Beach.
Salem, of course, has the dubious distinction of being
home to
the Salem Witch Trials and is also the birthplace of American novelist
Nathaniel Hawthorne.
