Training Sites

Quincy

The City of Quincy has the honor of being birthplace of the second and sixth U.S. Presidents, John Adams and his son, John Quincy Adams.

Programs:

Supported Work – Transitions participants to permanent, unsubsidized employment through "on-the-job" training at a company worksite.

YouthBuild – Provides low-income, out-of-school youth, aged 16–24 with on-the-job, hands on construction skills training and GED preparation.

ACHIEVE! – Serves out-of-school youth between the ages of 16 and 21, assisting with Adult Basic Education/GED preparation and more.


The Department of Transitional Assistance, the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Massachusetts Department of Education - Youthbuild funds, and WIA funds through the South Costal Workforce Investment Board are Quincy's funding sources.
