Quincy

The City of Quincy has the honor of being birthplace of the second and sixth U.S. Presidents, John Adams and his son, John Quincy Adams.

Programs:

ACHIEVE! – Serves out-of-school youth between the ages of 16 and 21, assisting with Adult Basic Education/GED preparation and more.

Young Parents – Offers pregnant and parenting out-of-school youth, aged 14-21, who have not achieved a high school diploma with a variety of educational and life skills training.

YouthBuild – Provides low-income, out-of-school youth, aged 16–24 with on-the-job, hands on construction skills training and GED preparation.


MA Department of Transitional Assistance, U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, YouthBuild funds, WIA funds through the South Costal Workforce Investment Board, and local agencies, businesses and foundations are Quincy's funding sources.
