Salem Students and Staff Participate in Creative Stress Reduction Activities

Salem students and staff made fairy houses

Literacy Improvement Instructor Gail Divico led a group of about a dozen students and staff in making fairy houses.

In Salem day students and staff participate in monthly Friday afternoon stress-reduction activities. This month they marked the change of season by using their creativity to help the wee folks of the fairy realm prepare for the winter season.

On October 24 Gail Divico led a group of students and staff in making fairy houses using materials found in nature. They had gathered items such as colored leaves, flowers, pine cones, twigs, and bark for the project.

“Everyone had a good time,” said North Shore Regional Manager Linnea Rego.
