REGIONAL MANAGER

40 hours, Monday - Friday

Reporting to the Vice President Operations/Compliance, responsible for the day-to-day management of the Holyoke and Springfield sites; responsible for evaluating/monitoring all site operations to ensure all programs meet all contracted goals/objectives; oversees/assists staff in providing outreach, recruitment, orientation, intake, testing, assessment, job development, marketing, pre-worksite training, classroom training, internships, job readiness training, counseling, supported worksite agreements/training, monitoring, and follow-up services to participants in order to ensure participants successfully complete training and transition into unsubsidized employment; responsible for completing/submitting all required recordkeeping/reporting and ensuring accuracy and completeness of client files; responsible for completing/submitting all contract reporting for all programs; responsible for acting as a liaison with local community based organizations, the Department of Transitional Assistance, and area employers to develop/maintain/ strengthen community public relations; responsible for the supervision of all site personnel, processing weekly time sheets, attendance, payroll and employee evaluations; and performs other duties.


QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS degree and 3 years previous experience as a Manager in a human services environment required. This job requires solid human relations, communication and leadership skills, and the ability to assemble, develop, motivate, train, and support a staff that is highly functional in a team approach. It also requires the incumbent to be able to relate to employers, community based organizations, and a diverse, multi-cultural population with varying needs/issues. It requires high motivation, initiative, flexibility, creativity and strong organizational skills. It requires the incumbent to be goal-driven in order to ensure the achievement of overall program goals. It also requires the ability to handle pressure and balance multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
