Food Stamp
The Food Stamp Program provides eligible Food
Stamp recipients with opportunities to obtain education and training
services including: orientation/intake, enrollment/assessment,
Adult Basic Education/GED Preparation, counseling/case
management/support services, computer/clerical vocational skills
training, job readiness training, and workplace skills development. The
overall goals of the program are to help participants improve
education/skill levels, prepare to find/retain employment, and
increase advancement/earnings opportunities.
