With funding from the Workforce Training Fund through King Kalipers, Inc., TRA is providing a customized Workplace English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Program to limited English speaking employees of King Kalipers, a company located in Peabody, MA. The ultimate goal of the program is to improve workplace communications. Utilizing actual tools, products and materials used on the job, TRA has developed a curriculum consisting of contextualized lessons customized to meet specific language needs related to working at the company. All instruction is taking place at the worksite.
TRA has the capability of developing customized Workplace Literacy Programs for businesses throughout Massachusetts.
