Karen Hammond enrolled in the TRA-Brockton CIES Employment Prep Program on April 21, 2015. With the support of TRA staff, she learned computer, work readiness, and job seeking skills, increased her self-confidence, and started a new job on July 7, 2015!

Here’s Karen’s story in her own words…

“For the past two years I have been looking for work and have been very unsuccessful because to apply to a job you need to know how to work a computer and that was a problem for me. I came to Training Resources of America in 2015 which is where I got the help I needed to finally know how to work with a computer and I learned how to apply to many different jobs and get quick responses back. The people who are there to help went above and beyond to see that I understood as much about a computer as I could. My main goal was to find a job doing what I do best, which is helping care for others in the health care field. My life will now change for the better and I thank everyone at TRA for helping me accomplish my goal and find a job as a caregiver.”
